For over a decade we have made building your own boat possible for many people who thought such a project was beyond their skill. Through the support offered on our sites bateau.com, boatplans-online.com, boatbuildercentral.com, and bateau2.com we have helped hundreds of people build their own boats.

Inboard engine installation poses a unique set of challenges for an amateur. An inboard requires much more work than strapping on the engine (like an outboard). There are many more systems that have to be engineered; air flow calculations, fuel supply, drive train, propeller calculations, cooling water, etc…

An amateur basically has 2 choices:
1) Do it your self and hope for the best, or 2) Pay someone to do it all for you.
We now offer a third: get everything right while doing the work yourself, with the support of trained engine technicians.
