Panels are easy to cut with hand tools. We custom build panels with specific fiberglass laminations to fit the application but extra layers, if needed, can be added by the builder. This will also save on shipping. The panels can be tabbed to the hull and other components with our biaxial tape and epoxy, then primed and painted. Our manufacturing process guarantees the ideal resin content: no excess resin waste. The panels can be used just as plywood panels but are lighter and stiffer. Ideal for soles (cockpit and cabin), decks, bulkheads and generally all boat interior parts where light weight, extra stiffness and insulation are critical. A 4x8' 1/2" panels weighs 30 lbs compared to 1/2" Meranti with only one layer of 12 oz. biaxial on each side at 60 lbs.
